“ Itsu offers many Korean options from sushi to soups to rice bowls. I found it very tasty and I had the Korean bbq rice bowl. Loved the flavors and all the vegetables that were in it. My son didn't like his very much though. He may be too picky of an eater for it. ”

“ TL;DR - Lovely fresh sushi, reasonably priced and a gorgeous interior. I've had my eye on itsu for a while, but this branch was never open at the weekend so I never had chance. However they've just changed their opening hours so I gave it a go. The interior of the place looks amazing - really nicely decorated in a modern style. It doesn't look especially Japanese but it doesn't matter because it still looks great. Down one side of the shop you'll find a huge chiller cabinet filled will kinds of sushi selection boxes, ranging from about £3 to £10. If you like sushi you're sure to find something you like here. There are also hot options available to order at the counter, and a few other snacks and tasty things - I highly recommend the chocolate coated edamame which are incredibly moreish! The price of everything is very reasonable, and for the quality and freshness of what you're getting you can't really complain. They also have a sale at the end of each day which gives you a great opportunity to try the place at for a bargain basement price. I was also quite smitten with the itsu recipe books for sale - I may have to invest in one of those for myself! ”
“ I really enjoyed this as sometime a chain take out the food may not be consistent and fresh. However this is quite a reasonably price and very fresh. I was poorly and craving for comfort food. Especially miso soup so I ordered via deliveroo to get it to my door. Love the miso soup with vegetable dumplings in it. I could have the whole pot of this! It wasn't salty and the dumplings burst with flavour as you bite into it. In terms of sushi, it was well made the knife skill could be better in terms of uniformity but you do get a decent thickness of salmon. The sushi rice was really yummy but I love mine abit stickyer but again I can't fault the flavour. I gave it a 5 stars because whether you buy it in store or takeaway via delivery the food comes out the same consistency. Plus I really love the miso soup. ”
“ I am so happy this place has opened! I'm a huge sushi fan, and have spent the last two years since arriving back in Manchester after a stint in Australia, slating Manchester for it's lack of sushi. There is still no where near enough of these places around, but it's nice to see the city try... It's very tucked away at the back of Spinningfields, meaning those who work nearby benefit from this place, as shoppers wouldn't really come down this way. However, all the delights of sushi rolls, salads, soups, rice snacks etc are available in this eat-in or take-out place, providing a healthier lunch time option. Nice interior, quite clean and spacious, with it's usual bright colours. Very happy to see this place open and wasn't disapointed at all by my visit. I picked up the crab and avocado maki rolls and dark chocolate rice cakes for my lunch, along with coconut water, and got both my savoury and sweet fix without guilt. ”
